Google Cleanup Tool scans and removes software that may cause problems with Chrome, such as crashes. So you can solve most of problems occurred in Chrome.

Also I had a experience that Chrome was continuously shut down when I clicked a image. It means, when popup comes out, browser goes off. And Cleanup Tool didn't work. In this case, you should reinstall Chrome to solve the problem. Follow the steps below.
- Remove Chrome
- Move to C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Google, and erase the 'Chrome' folder. (IMPORTANT!)
- Install Chrome
